We are aiming to start the course on February 20th at 5pm (for the lecture) the riding lesson follows at 6pm.

Liveries

Excellent facilities on offer include use of both the indoor and outdoor schools, large airy boxes, feed, bedding and haylage are sold on site as well as shavings.

There is excellent hacking in the surrounding countryside – miles of quiet roads and open bridleways surround the farm on all sides and for the more competitive livery we have competitions in all disciplines every week at our commercial centre.

There is also a newly refurbished fully licensed bar and cafeteria serving fresh, healthy, wholesome food and snacks, but we still do cheesy chips and bacon rolls too!

We offer a range of liveries from DIY to full livery, at competitive prices in a friendly, professionaly run yard, where help is always on hand with regard to ongoing training and horse care.

Limes Farm has an excellent atmosphere for both the horse and rider!

Prices

We work on a ‘extras’ basis for DIY clients. Additional services ie turnouts, rugging etc.

Overnight stays

Travelling into Europe? Come a long way to compete? Then why not stay the night? Limes Farm offers overnight facilities for both your horse and rider (prebooked only).

BHS qualified riding teachers with safe & well-schooled ponies and horses make Limes Farm Equestrian Centre an ideal riding school, no matter the rider’s level.  Dressage and showjumping private or group lessons are always flexible to meet riders’ own goals and requirements.  The riding school takes children from the age of 4 and there is no upper age limit as Limes Farm’s oldest rider, 89-year-old Peggy, proves every Friday at her lessons.

Taking advantage of the beautiful rural surroundings, Limes Farm also offers hacks which can be an hour-long walk around the village with a possible stop at a typical old English pub called the Cat and Custard Pot for beginners or a longer and more fast-paced hack over miles of quiet roads and open bridleways often overlooking the sea and the French coast for more advanced riders.

We have evening group classes for experienced, novice/nervous adult riders, to enable individuals to learn to ride at their own pace in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Join us on the Tuesday / Thursday evening group rides at 6 pm.

New riders should arrive 10 minutes before the lesson starts.
